We make software
worth using.
We're a small studio. We take on a few engagements at a time and give each one our full attention. The people you talk to are the ones doing the building.
Start a conversationWhy size matters.
How working with a small studio is different from working with a large agency.
What we build.
We approach every engagement the same way: careful work, high standards, and we get better at it with each one.
- New products
- From first conversation to production. We scope it, design it, and ship it. Including the parts nobody wants to talk about until they break.
- Workflow & ops
- Find the repetitive, error-prone work. Build software that handles it. Free your team for the work that needs a person.
- Integrations
- Not every problem needs a rebuild. Sometimes the right addition is the whole fix: a new integration, an automated step, a better handoff. We figure out which one and build it.
- Content infrastructure
- For teams that produce knowledge at scale: courses, documentation, technical content. The engineering behind it matters as much as the content itself.
We called it Kindness Ventures because it's the constraint we build to: care for the person opening the software on Monday morning and relying on it to get their job done.
We started because we'd seen both failure modes: studios that stretch thin until clients become line items, and large companies that ship software their users have to work around. We stay small so the first never happens, and independent so the second never will.
If we're fully booked, we say so. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too. We'd rather lose a sale than take a project we can't do well.
